Drs Gottesman & Weishaus are in the private independent practice of general eye care with special emphasis on anterior eye disease, specialty contact lenses, contact lenses for youngsters and Laser Vision Correction. Our doctors are the owners. Our staff is the highest quality, most experienced, most educated, most caring and the same year after year. Upon completion of their Doctor of Optometry studies together at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 1972 the doctors joined Dr Harold Bussey at the Pontiac Eye Clinic in Pontiac. In 1975 they joined Dr Myron Hauser at Optical World in Detroit. In 1986 their third office, Roland Optics, was established in Southfield in association with Dr. Harold Roland and in 1991 their fourth office, Weisman Optometrists, was formed in association with Dr. Marvin Weisman. In 1999 Dr Lorne Gottesman and Dr Randall Weishaus finished their Doctor of Optometry studies at the New England College of Optometry in Boston and joined th eir fathers in practice. Drs Gottesman & Weishaus provide the most comprehensive eye examination for children & adults using the newest techniques & technologies. We are board certified to provide medical treatment for most eye infections, injuries, emergencies, glaucoma, allergies, and dry eye, as well as the removal of foreign bodies.
