Golightly Educational Center is located in Detroit and offers a variety of educational programs to students in prekindergarten through grade eight. The school offers programs in business, English, mathematics, social studies, science and computer literacy. Its sports activities include football, basketball, soccer, track and swimming. Golightly Educational Center provides various classes in band, orchestra and information technology. It also offers an after school enrichment program and provides academic and athletic clubs and computer-based tutoring to students. Its clubs include academic games, and it also offers Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering program. It provides a program in music education that includes vocal and instrumental music.
