In 1934, Ruth Dorsey founded the Dorsey School to meet the growing demand in business for highly skilled operators of Victor and Burroughs’ comptometer machines. In its day, the comptometer was the most advanced technology for data tabulation and was widely used, well into the 1960’s. Today, Dorsey School of Business, doing business as Dorsey Schools, remains a committed career training school that prepares individuals for promising career opportunities, technology training, and certifications for the medical, culinary arts, skilled trades, and cosmetology fields. Worst school I have ever been to, they say guaranteed job placement but I have been done with my program for 2 months now and still haven't been placed and still can't find a job they are telling me that there sending out my resume but I don't believe them because someone would of called by now. They told me in the beginning of they don't think you can do it they won't place you and when I go to find a job myself they tell me that I don't meat the qualification how is that so if I did a year there with a 6 week extership the school is a waste there just out to get your money, just like I got my diploma in the mail and it was all bent and folded they couldn't write don't bend on it so now I got to make it get to normal myself as much as I can because I'm sure there not going to replace it! All in all worst school n have ever been to police were always there because people would be fighting everyday!
