Not only has the company helped to create some of the most beautiful landmarks in Southeast Michigan, but it has also built a reputation as one of the region's best contractors. In addition to providing architectural sheet metal services. CASS offers all facets of custom sheet metal roofing as well as other types of custom roofing applications, including copper, metal roofing, slate tiles, shakes and shingles.President and owner, Glenn Parvin, established CASS in 1990. He wanted to create a company that specialized in custom sheet metal work. It did not take long for its reputation for uncompromising quality to lead the company to very large and prestigious projects. In order to succeed in custom sheet metal fabrication, CASS decided it would be necessary to partner with some of the best metal roofing and metal siding system manufacturers, such as Berridge, Petersen Aluminum Corporation, BEMO USA and Centria. CASS got started with some of these primary metal roofing manufacturers because we needed structural standing seam panels backed by a manufacturer's water tightness warranty. These manufacturers' systems gave CASS the manufacturing control and support we needed. By partnering with such businesses, CASS has become one of the largest architectural sheet metal companies in the state of Michigan. With two portable standing-seam panel roll formers, one double lock standing-seam roll former, one double-lock batten system roll former, two computer bending machines, multiple shears, press breaks, hand breaks, and welding equipment, CASS operates a 10, 00-square-foot sheet metal fabrication shop capable of handling almost any custom fabrication sheet metal project.CASS grew out of an existing commercial roofing and sheet metal company. We had developed a reputation for our ability to handle metal roofing and sheet metal challenges in the local industry and CASS was created to capitalize on that reputation and develop a stand-alone specialty firm to market and promote metal roofing and other types of custom architectural sheet metal.. Thanks to strategic partnerships with quality companies like Berridge and Petersen Aluminum, and experienced, dedicated employees, CASS has never had to say we couldn't do a job!CASS employs 20 to 30 sheet metal journeymen from the Local 80 Sheet Metal Workers Union, which is no small accomplishment in today's construction market. The company also employs two estimators/project managers and two administrative employees. One testimony to its success is the fact that it was able to sustain manpower levels over the past two years, while many companies suffered layoffs.CASS is uniquely qualified to perform some of the most intricate and difficult work with an unmatched level of quality and precision. It's no coincidence that when there is a high profile project in Southeast Michigan requiring an architectural sheet metal contractor, CASS is the go-to contractor called to the project. "Our attention to detail, craftsmanship and unparalleled ability to provide whatever the project requires, has made CASS the benchmark for the architectural sheet metal business" says Parvin. "Instead of focusing on profits, pricing and bottom lines, we always try to make sure we do our work as well as it can be done". "Implementing a high level of quality craftsmanship into each project often produces repeat customers and plenty of business which should equate to profits at the end of the y
