Dr. Anthony Mollica is a Foot and Ankle Surgeon at Ascension St. John Hospital. He was born in Vancouver, Canada and was a Physics major attending the University of British Columbia for his undergraduate education. He graduated from the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Mollica completed a reconstructive foot and ankle residency at Ascension St. John Hospital as chief resident. Dr. Mollica is trained in total ankle replacements and is proficient with revision surgery involving these implants. He has a special interest in foot and ankle reconstruction of complex deformities such as Diabetic Charcot deformity, flat feet, and high arched feet. Dr. Mollica uses an individual patient-centered approach and tailors specific treatments to their needs. He utilizes the latest techniques in minimally invasive Arthroscopic treatment for ankle pathology. He is also adept at all aspects of forefoot surgery and has extensive expertise in treating severe bunions, hammertoes, and other forefoot deformities. Dr. Mollica is proficient with foot and ankle trauma such as ankle fractures and Lisfranc fractures. He has extensive experience in diabetic wound care and limb salvage. He applies modern cutting edge wound care modalities in the treatment of high-risk patients with complex wounds.
