This is a great hotel for someone who is looking to visit on a budget, but still wants a nice room. Our room was exactly what we expected, and the people working there were EXTREMELY polite! I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the area. It's close to everything, but not in the middle of it. You get removed from the busy areas at night, which is nice. Plus - there's a Waffle House right beside the hotel!

The room was clean and tidy. Looked like new drapes, carpeting and bedspread. No A/C in bathroom but A/C in room worked good. Would have liked a small table/chairs and stand for luggage. Room provided small microwave and refrigerator. Free coffee and ice in lobby with small breakfast cakes available in the morning. TV had several choices for programs. I would recommend to anyone who does not mind not having a fancy room.

The Village Inn at Destin is very convenient to all of Destin's major attractions, just across the street from the beach, the harbor and major entertainment centers. Also the Village Inn is close the Eglin AFB making access to the base very easy.

This place is a great value stay in Destin. If you're not expecting anything extravagant but are looking for a clean, comfortable place a few miles from public access beaches and close to shopping and restaurants then you will be pleasantly surprised. They have a nice pool area and a friendly staff. We wouldn't hesitate staying there again on another trip to Destin.

The motel satisified our needs! When we are on vacation, we are seldom in the room, therefore, didn't want to pay a enormous price for just for a room. The motel was close enough to the beach, marina, resturants, shops, and kids activities. We actually got to do more kids activities by saving on the room price.

The service at the hotel was great. Everyday we got our room cleaned(new sheets, bath room cleaned, trash taken out,etc.). The room were extremely clean and comfy. The pool area was clean and so was the pool. they have breakfast in the mornings(coffee, juices, cereal,etc.). the hotel is located on destin's main strip so any and every activity or dining you would want is really close. i would sure stay there again and everytime i decided to go to Destin. Great family place. great location. great rooms. great services. great price.

We got the best price in town, For a clean and spacious room,right in the middle of it all, fishing,shopping and nightclubs,we had a great time. Front desk staff very friendly.

This hotel was much better than I had expected! I had read some negative reports. The location was awesome!! When checking in, the lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful! If I had to say anything negative about this hotel, it would just be to bring your own pillows because theirs were flat.

This is not the hilton so if that's what you are looking for, then move on, but it is definitely a convenient comfortable place to stay.We stayed here before when we wanted to come down before our condo was ready and liked it so we used it again.It is close to the local restaurants, the public beach and next to the waffle house for breakfast.

This was our third stay at this hotel. It was everything we were looking for. It is clean with a good location. It is by no means a high end hotel buy it is in a wonderful location across from the harbor walk. You can walk across the road and shop, eat, or book an excursion. We will be back next year.

Small, older hotel but well worth the price. Why spend double at other places. While it may not be on the beach, it's still close to everything in town. The staff is friendly, rooms were clean and I saved a ton of money!

The Village Inn of Destin is a pleasantly affordable place to stay when on a budget. When economy is the determining factor and comfort can only be sacrificed by so much, choose Village Inn of Destin. The rooms were clean, everything worked in spite of the age and it is in the midst of everything one would want to do in Destin FL.

The staff was very kind and helpful! The room was clean, would have liked to have a nonsmoking room but there was not one open. Even so I thought the room was very clean. An older property and you could see the sge, but for the price and location you could not beat it! Would stay again if ever in the area.

Let me start out by saying that we had a great experience.... with that being said, we booked our reservation (our first experience) at the suggestion of a friend. After booking the reservation, I started reading all the reviews and was horrified at most of them. Those folks that were unhappy and dissatisfied DEFINTELY DID NOT have the experience we had. Our room was clean, the staff was very friendly and it was conveniently located. The only thing that we were unaccustomed to was not being on the beach, but as it turns out that wasn't an issue with us, as a matter of fact I think it was best this way (no excessive sand in the room). We spent the majority of our time on the beach (which was only about a 10 min. drive), but when we would return to our room, it had been cleaned, fresh towels (and plenty of them) and they never disturbed any of our stuff. We didn't experience any of the awful stuff that some have written about. We did not have interenet access because we were too far from

The room I was in was nice & clean. The price was unbelivably low for the Destin area. I would stay here again although I was rarely in the room because there was so much to do.

our overall experience was great with th hotel. anything we needed the staff were there to help. the hotel's location was good. we wasn't very far from all the different things the city had to offer.

The Village Inn Hotel in Destin was conveniently located close to the beaches. Stayed 1 night on our way to Orlando. Rooms were clean, a/c worked well, pool well maintained. There were six in our party, no one complained.
