While I usually love the Rave, I have one grievance I must get off of my chest. I recently attended an "event" movie (Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring re-release), which means I spent a $15 premium. While I would usually have no problem paying that much to see a re-release such as this, I was thoroughly disappointed with my screening. If I am expected to pay that much for ONE movie ticket I at least expect it to be shown in one of the top-notch Digital-projected stadiums. But, sadly, the film was shown on one of the two standard projection stadiums in the entire theater, which resulted in poor image quality and sound quality that I can only describe as sub-par (all of the dialogue was isolated to the front of the theater with the surround only coming to play for special effects and music, effectively drowning out characters in some scenes). I would whole-heartedly recommend AGAINST seeing any special screenings at this theater, unless you are in the mood for getting ripped-off.

For the overall movie experience, stadium seating, cleanliness, I give this place 4 stars. I'm not thrilled with movie prices these days, so if I could rate separately, I would give pricing 2.5 stars. I haven't been in here during a filled theater, but when partially filled for a movie, its nice and quiet.For a special occassion, theater is worth the extra $$$. Make a day of it at the Commons, window shop, then enjoy a movie in comfort and good screen visibility.
