General Info
Originally from a small town outside of Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Amanda Denton completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She migrated to warmer weather with her husband David. They currently live in Parker with their baby girl, Charlie, and two dogs, Kobe and Django. Dr. Denton still loves to learn and attends dental educational events all the time. She invigorates her practice with a youthful perspective and an uncompromising attention to detail. The quality of Dr. Denton's work is truly impressive, and she always treats her patients like she would her own family. She also believes in using the latest and greatest materials and technology to ensure that your dental work is the best. A relaxing dental experience is her goal. Starting with a massage chair and hot tea in the waiting room, you'll immediately feel like you are right back at home. You're time is valuable, so your appointment time is honored with minimal waiting. When you are in the treatment room, the chair is comfortable and you can watch anything on our TVs. To complete the relaxation, Dr. Denton offers several methods to keep you at ease. You can choose from inhalation sedation with nitrous oxide (laughing gas), conscious sedation (a strong relaxation pill), or alternatives like aromatherapy (variety of 100% pure essential oils to choose). Whether it has 6 months or 60 years since your last dental visit, Dr. Denton will spend time to educate you on your oral health. She will show you pictures, x-rays, and models to show you how to improve your overall health. Bacteria can build-up rapidly in your mouth and spread all over your body causing severe problems. And if you can't properly chew food, your body doesn't get the nutrients it needs to function correctly. The worst teeth are ones that don't see a dentist!
