Located in Desert Hot Springs, neighbor to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park, Onsen Resort and Spa is a desert oasis set in the foothills of the Little San-Bernardino Mountains. Perched high above the valley floor the resort is is perfectly situated to afford sweeping views of the Coachella Valley and the spectacular mountain ranges that circle and protect this serene desert landscape including the San Bernardino, the San Jacinto and the Santa Rosa Mountains. The resort was originally built in 1960 and completely restored in 2019. The restoration protected the mid-century architecture and design but introduced a Japanese influence reflected in the simplicity of the design. Featuring just twenty-one spacious and modern guest rooms, decorated with a modern, simple aesthetic, the resort is perfectly sized to assure you get gracious and personalized service.
