  Guy is a Des Moines, Iowa, native. He worked his way through school as a union ironworker, campus security officer and law library assistant. Upon graduation from law school, he served as a judicial law clerk for Justice J.L. Larson of the Iowa Supreme Court. In 1983, Guy was appointed Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa. Among the cases he prosecuted were the largest insurance fraud in Iowa history, the then largest drug case in Iowa history, and the largest tax evasion case in Iowa history.

  Anita Dhar Miller is a partner in the litigation division of Grefe Sidney. Her practice includes general civil litigation. Anita represents clients in civil matters before the Iowa district courts and federal district courts. She has experience in insurance defense matters, including automobile personal injury, construction claims, gross negligence, slip and fall, discrimination, sexual harassment, and workers’ compensation. Anita’s work has included successfully representing clients before the Iowa Court of Appeals and obtaining summary judgment from the Iowa district courts.

  Andrew D. Hall is the managing member of the Grefe Sidney Litigation Division. He has practiced with Grefe & Sidney since 1990 and in that time has developed extensive experience in insurance defense matters, including automobile personal injury, construction claims, premises liability, and workers’ compensation. He represents clients in state and federal district court, appeals courts, and before the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commission.
