We had a baby shower at Adelphia's during the Sunday brunch. We were told when we booked the event that they would do a headcount so we expected to pay for the guests who came and ate which was 104. We gave a head count of 115 the week prior. A few days before the shower there was a death in the family so some people did not attend. We had to pay for the 115 guests. We would understand if there was a separate brunch for our guests but we ate from the same brunch as the restaurant guests. They ran out of food throughout the event and there was only one person working the omelet station. He did a great job but we felt bad for him because the restaurant was jam packed. We've had many parties in restaurants and catering halls and were never charged for guests who did not attend. The owner was very rude and unprofessional. Very, very disappointed. Do not book a party here!!!

Wow! Has this place grown over the years! Small in the 80's but NOW it's huge! Beautiful decor, the food is divine & you can have parties for large groups or small intimate dining for 2. Great dance floor with DJ's providing music, plus Live Bands like (Don't Call Me Francis) have regular gigs there. Big crowds at night, great cocktails, wines & beers. But location is closer to Deptford than Woodbury! Right across the street from Deptford Mall.
