Rachel has a clinical focus on medical dermatology, particularly acne, psoriasis, eczema, and total body skin cancer exams. She attended the University of Florida where she graduated cum laude with a BA in Spanish and earned her Master’s degree in PA studies in 2010. Before joining Advanced Dermatology, Rachel served as Chief PA for Mount Sinai Hospital's department of dermatology in New York City. Prior to this she'd spent several years working in emergency medicine and urgent care. Rachel is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She has completed the SDPA’s diplomate fellowship program. Rachel has published academic articles in the International Journal of Dermatology, the Journal of Drugs and Dermatology, and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology Case Reports. When she's not working, Rachel enjoys volleyball, reading, live theater, and creative writing.
