Provided by YP.comThis is a place to go if you want a doctor who cares. These docs are committed to caring for the whole person; that's what family practice is all about. Each doctor also has a sub- specialty; eg.obstetrics, orthopedics, mental health. Therefore in one practice a patient can tap many different types of expertise just by asking.
In these days of complicated insurance issues and tight schedules on everyone's part, there are bound to be occasional scheduling hassles, rushed front desk encounters, or a billing issue from time to time. The office manager in THIS establishment, however, will take time to listen and correct the situation; a courtesy often missing in our world.
The important thing is your medical care, and whether your doctor takes a true interest in making sure you get the wisest treatment for your particular condition. In this aspect,I am always confident with the care at Highlands Family Medicine.

Provided by YP.comI stopped going here after every time I went I had to see a different doctor. No one there remembered me and each time I went I had to repeat my medical history and prescription list. The final straw was when a doctor told me that they could only handle one problem today and if I had other issues, I would have to make an appointment for each one! I was never even asked symptoms or what other problems i was dealing with in order to determine how important they might be.
I did meet a few caring doctors that seemed to be very good at what they do, but just decided that this practice was not what I needed as a patient with chronic illness.
