I only give one star review because a no-star review (or a MINUS 5 stars) is not available. This doctor is the most incompetent dentist I have ever been to. I came to him to get a repair of a healthy but slightly chipped front tooth. Seems simple, right? WRONG! Two days after Johnston, half of my tooth disintegrated, along with Johnstons sloppy patching. I had to return back to Johnstons office to TRY to get the same tooth re-done. Except, Johnston did not know how to fix what he messed up so miserably a few days prior. His proposed options were outrageous (and expensive surprise-surprise): crown & veneeres on both front teeth, or file down my teeth short (which would have accomplished nothing as he already destroyed half of my front tooth), or do pretty much nothing: just polish my front tooth and leave my tooth paper thin as it was. He said there was no way he could reinforce my tooth. I asked for my money back. The coward hid in the back office while his arrogant receptionist tried to tell me that it was not Jeff Johnstons fault that my front tooth disintegrated two days after my dental visit with him; that at fault was my teeth grinding. So I had to go to another doctor and pay again to fix Johnstons mess. I did go to another doctor that day. And when I mentioned Johnstons proposed treatment options at a new office, they were appalled. I did not recommend to the new doctor what I wished could be done with my tooth. I just showed my tooth to the new doctor and asked for help. The new doctor did exactly what I was hoping for: he reinforced and repaired my tooth properly. He had no problems doing what Johnston said could not be done!!! Obviously, reinforcing a tooth is beyond Johnstons skill level. And to make things worse, I just received a bill from Johnstons office today. Not only they charged me for the Johnstons unskilled, sloppy ruining of my tooth, they also sent me a bill for cleaning!!! I NEVER got my teeth cleaned at that office!!! They submitted a fraudulent bill!!!! If you care about your teeth for Gods sake, PLEASE avoid Johnston at all costs possible.
