the better business bureau needs to shut scott brown properties DOWN. Its a shame how gross and roach infested their units are. I have a tramp stamp from a roach bite. I would never recommend apartments by sbp to anyone not even my worst enemy. Thats how bad they are.

If i could give them no stars then i would worst apartments in history of Denton. Scott brown will go to hell for lying. They make up stuff just to keep your deposit because no one wants to rent from them. No reason to have Maintenance because its rare that they show up. Omg the pests are the worst like seriously who wants to live with bugs how gross can these people be. Management in Denton know dang well that ALL of there properties are neglected and not well kept. They're so bad even a homeless would run. Seriously they just need to demolition all of their properties. On that note just dont rent from them period.

Very large problem with receiving my deposit, which is reflected in other online reviews. I was charged for problems that I saw in my file - which was left with me during an office visit while someone stepped away - and the file for my unit showed that a previous tenant was charged for some of the same issues that I had inherited, and the previous tenant had written a letter of dispute as I had as well. I was charged for pre-existing problems that the previous tenant was charged for and that had not been resolved before I moved in even though I had clearly expressed those items on my move-in form. It took months to get my deposit back. It took weeks to get a small bathroom repair done also. I am an older grad student and have never had a problem quite like this. I would advise not to deal with this company.
