M has a bachelor's degree in Music with emphasis in Piano Performance, and a minor in music composition. Mrs. April creates a positive, learning environment for her students in which they can reach their full potential as musicians. She believes in giving the utmost care, respect, and attention to each student. She also believes in providing unique materials and pieces for each of her students based on their specific needs and desires as pianists. She focuses on using Faber Piano Adventure method books and adds in other supplemental pieces, based on what her students are interested in learning. Her greatest vision for her students is that they will go beyond just playing the notes on the page and create beautiful, expressive music by using their imaginations, emotions, and technique.
