Delta High School, established in 1979, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. The school s curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as language arts, agriculture, fine arts, business studies, foreign language, mathematics, science, social studies, information technology and physical education. It also provides special education to students suffering from cognitive impairments, and physical and learning disabilities. The sports activities offered by the school include baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, wrestling and track. It is affiliated with the Delta County School District and has a library and media center that provides online study materials, books, magazines and Internet access to students. The school has an enrollment of more than 600 students and is located in Delta, Colo.
