Dr. Russell D. Weisz is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He attended medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the national honor society AOA. Dr. Weisz completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the New York University-Hospital for Joint Diseases, publishing papers and giving national presentations on fracture treatment and joint replacement surgery. From there, he completed a one-year fellowship in orthopedic traumatology. During this year, he received specialized training in the treatment of complex fractures; infections involving bone, foot, and ankle trauma; and non-healed fractures.
