General Info
Plumosa Elementary School is a dual language school that serves more than 360 students in kindergarten through grade five and offers various educational services. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as reading, mathematics, English, Spanish, social studies and science. The school s library has a large collection of printed books and various other reference materials. In addition, the school organizes book fairs for its students. It also provides an online list of selected reading quiz questions. The school offers a variety of special services, including gifted education, child care and counseling. Based in Delray Beach, Fla., it is a part of the School District of Palm Beach County.

Wow, what a great newly built "A" rated Elementary, all gone green, & hope to add on to a middle school soon, like BAK. :) We are so lucky to have bought a home in this school zone! My child is in the Dual Language Spanish program & is loving to go to school everyday! With all the funding/grant $$$ this school was given, my child never has to share an instrument! They have new pianos, violins, drums, etc./ One for every child. 3 or 5 APPLE carts that the teachers sign up for & there are Apple iPads for every child to learn on! No waiting to share. The new dance, art, media, & auditorium room are a must to check out! Its a pretty neat school. Look into it!
