Originally incorporated in 1936 as Delaware Rural Electric Cooperative and Morrow Electric Cooperative, Consolidated Electric Cooperative Inc. is a full-service electric company. Based in Delaware, Ohio, it is one of the 24 electric cooperatives in Ohio. The company maintains more than 2,000 miles of power lines and over 15 substations. Consolidated Electric Cooperative Inc. caters to the needs of customers throughout Delaware, Franklin, Knox, Licking, Marion, Morrow, Richland and Union. It is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative, an alliance of more than 600 electric cooperatives across the United States.
