It provides short- and long-term care for residents who are recovering from surgery and acute illnesses. It provides a wide range of skilled nursing services, including infusion and enternal therapies, wound and tracheostomy care and peritoneal dialysis. It also offers portable diagnostics services, such as laboratory services, X-ray and electrocardiogram. Its rehabilitation programs are provides to patients recovering from orthopedic problems, vascular and wound injuries and acute conditions of stroke and heart problems. The center also offers pulmonary management, restorative nursing program and respite and hospice care. University Center West accepts all major private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid coverage.
