GET A PRINTED QUOTE FROM YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY before any work is done, including the procedure(s) and the tooth to be worked on., This is called a Predetermination of Charges, and widely used within the industry, supported both by insurance companies and dental professionals. Make sure no other work is done. This will avoid situations that can be grievously expensive. This is especially helpful because INSURANCE COMPANY COVERAGE CAN CHANGE AS OF THE FIRST OF EACH YEAR. Your dental professional has no responsibility to advise the customer of such changes.KNOW THE COST BEFORE ANY WORK IS DONE. Live and Learn!!!!The dental professional demands payment on receipt of services. BE PREPARED to pay in full.
