The department also offers well child clinics, school physicals, blood lead testing, AIDS antibody testing, and vision and hearing screening. It also offers a full range of environmental health services, including restaurant and retail food establishment inspections; portable water supplies; private sewage disposal; solid waste management program and nuisance control. The department also offers additional services that include health education, veterinary services and issuance of certified copies of birth and death.
