Located in Newton, Mass., The Rashi School is a reform Jewish day school that has been serving the Jewish community since 1986. The school enrolls more than 300 boys and girls in grades kindergarten through eight from over 30 communities. Its curriculum integrates general studies, Jewish studies and Hebrew. The Rashi School provides a child-centered program of academic excellence that integrates Jewish studies for intellectual development of students. The school curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as language arts, music, arts and crafts, drama and social justice. It offers various programs and services for students and their families, including the family education program, family retreats and dinners, family education library resources, after school and extended day programs. The Rashi School also offers private piano, guitar and violin lessons.
