Shepherd Pathways offers treatment solutions for individuals with traumatic brain injuries. The organization provides recreational, speech, physical and occupational therapies, as well as assistive technology consultation and neuropsychological and vocational assessment solutions. It also administers vestibular therapy, swallowing and acute mild brain injury programs. Shepherd Pathways provides respite care services 24 hours a day. In addition, the organization offers opportunities to participate in a variety of recreational and social activities. It manages a sports concussion clinic that treats and manages injuries sustained by athletes. Shepherd Pathways is managed by the Shepherd Center, which is a private, nonprofit hospital that specializes in the medical treatment, research and rehabilitation of spinal cord and brain injuries.
