- Endometrial AblationEndometrial ablation is a method of removing the lining of your uterus. You might need to undergo endometrial ablation if you're experiencing abnormal bleeding or heavy menstrual periods. You may be a candidate for this procedure if hormonal birth control has not sufficiently treated your symptoms, and you aren't considering pregnancy in the future.
- LaparoscopyDuring a laparoscopy, your provider uses a laparoscope – a slender, flexible tube with a light and camera – that is inserted through a small incision in your abdomen.
