My 1997 Windstar was not shifting out of first gear. i took it to a several transmission shops around my area and all of them gave me quotes ranging from 1300 to 1600 dollars to rebuild the transmission. A buddy of mine recommended i take my car to Royal Transmission in Dearborn and the manager connected a scanner to my car and within 10 minutes he diagnosed that it was just a sensor failure and replace it for 120 dollars.Since than i haven't had a problem with my transmission. They are honest and truly the good transmission people, i highly recommend them.
