Established in 1994A taco stand emerged out of a front porch in De Queen, Arkansas. Hungry workers in a nearby chicken processing plant became regular customers. "Maria's tacos" as they often where referred to became quite popular; this prompted the idea to open a business to feed hungry customers searching for good Mexican food in southwest Arkansas. In 1994, the Ramirez family of Guerrero, Mexico opened its doors for business and named it "La Chiquita". Today, the business continues to make authentic Mexican food such as tacos, burritos, home-made tamales, and specialty dishes.
