Jim Steuerwald, president of United Craftsmen Inc, has been building homes in the Madison area since 1978, but the family tradition of quality construction goes back many years. His grandfather Gilbert Steuerwald was a builder contractor with offices at 5115 W. Burleigh St., Milwaukee, and built several custom homes in the historic Sherman Park neighborhood along 51st Boulevard in the 1920's. Today's United Craftsmen brings together talented carpenters who take pride in what they do, and have the high level of skills necessary to complete even the most challenging projects. Based out of Dane County, United Craftsmen has many completed many quality projects throughout southern Wisconsin over the past 30 years.
