Established in 1980, the Children s Advocacy Center is a private, nonprofit agency that provides forensic, therapeutic and prevention services for child abuse and sexual assault victims. It administers various child protection, prevention, outpatient mental health and community partnership programs. The agency offers a variety of support services in the areas of stress reduction, advocacy, parenting and independent living skills, child safety, nutrition, education, and child growth and development. The Children s Advocacy Center also provides case management, mental health, safety, and speech and occupational therapy services through its Early Steps program. Additionally, it participates in various fundraising events. The Children s Advocacy Center maintains a presence in Daytona Beach, Fla.
