Dawson High School, located in Dawson, Texas, serves students in grades 7 through 12. It has various academic departments, such as English, social studies, Spanish, mathematics, science, and health and physical education. The school additionally conducts classes in agricultural science, history, fine arts and technology education. Dawson High School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, basketball, cross country, track and field, volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, tennis and power lifting. It supports several clubs and organizations that include the Family Career and Community Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, National Honor Society and drill team, as well as band, cheerleading and yearbook clubs. The school is a part of the Dawson Independent School District.
