General Info
Inspectioneering is the unique combination of home inspection services with the added expertise of extensive structural engineering experience. After years of running a successful home inspection business in PA, I decided to move back to California with my family, where I started Inspectioneering, a home inspection and consulting business in the Greater Sacramento Area. The knowledge that I bring to the home inspection market from my years in engineering and performing inspections on homes, commercial properties and structural inspections, gives me an added advantage to better help my clients understand the issues that exist in their homes and properties. I view home inspections as detective work. If I can find one or two clues, I can determine whether and how they are related in order to help my clients determine whether they are making the right investment.

Provided by YP.comInspectioneering, Llc was hired to conduct the real-estate inspection of our prospective new home. Harel, who turns out to be the founder of this company conducted the inspection service. Inspectioneering, Llc really fell below expectations in my opinion and failed to discover some issues with our home prior to the sale. First of all our dishwasher was broken. The top sliding loading tray was broken from its rails and numerous components of the dishwasher were located at the bottom drain area. This condition rendered the dishwasher inoperable. In reviewing Harel's inspection report I noticed digital photographs he had taken of the dishwasher on the day of the inspection. His own photograph shows the damage was present at the time he took the photo.Harel later denied this. A more significant issue came about when we discovered that we did not have hot water to some showers, bath tubs, and faucets in the home. Water was run for up to five minutes that would not get hot. This problem was not noted by Harel. In fact, Harel reported that the hot water was working properly at the time of inspection. I had to request two separate plumbing companies to respond out to attempt to remedy this issue. It was determined that a when the tankless hot water heater was installed a year ago that the recirculation line for the hot water was not hooked up as it should have been. Based on this finding, it would have been impossible for Harel to get hot water at the faucets and showers as I described on the day he did the inspection. I contacted Harel who was not interested working with me to fix the issues and instead stood by his original inspection report results. The most concerning issue for me was that Harel was dishonest about his findings regarding the hot water issue which is going to be the more costly repair. My advice is that Inspectioneering is not a reputable service and I would do your homework with any home inspection service you use prior to hiring their services.
