Dr. Orlova joined Vascular Care Connecticut in 2022. Prior to joining Vascular Care Connecticut, she worked as a staff vascular surgeon and Assistant Professor for Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. Dr. Orlova is a Board-certified vascular surgeon who trained at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after receiving a Doctorate in Medicine and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania. Her doctoral work was in Neuroscience. Dr. Orlova completed her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University, studying neuroscience and biomedical engineering. Her clinical interests include aortic aneurysm and aorto-iliac occlusive disease surgery, advanced carotid surgery, mesenteric and renal interventions, lower extremity surgery and advanced endovascular lower extremity interventions, dialysis access and maintenance, and venous procedures. She also has a passion for working with neuro- and orthopedic surgeons to assist in anterior exposures for spine surgery. Dr. Orlova has published many peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at a variety of academic and industry-led conferences across the globe. She is fluent in English and Russian.
