The people are nice, but the place really needs to be cleaned up better. Lights on some of the tanks have been out for weeks. I've had to correct information that some of the people working there were saying. They also need to watch when they allow handicapped people and their caretakers in to the store. I was there shopping and watched a handicapped man abusing the animals (picking the birds up by their tails, grabbing the rabbits hard around the middle and holding them down while they freaked out). The workers said nothing and neither did the caretaker. The puppies are too high-priced and they need to be given more space and better places to lay down, sleep, and walk on. There are some puppy cages that don't have water bowls in them for long periods of time... I love the store and the people there, but some of them really need to read up and stop telling customers the wrong stuff!

world of pets is #1 in Danville v.a i buy everythiang here dont go no where but here it is good plase to go for your pets needs thay is the bast the dods is vary good the fish is the bast to and the snakes is to when i go in i feel like i am at home.

I bought my first parrot from World of Pets. Very friendly people and knowledgable. I had never been around birds, but fell in love with a Blue Front Amazon and purchased it and a cage ,toys etc. That was over ten years ago . I have continued to do all of my shopping from them and they continue to help me with any questions I have. I now own 4 parrots . Though that is my limit I will not acquire anymore. I continue to be thankful for this very helpful business.
