Love going here their only downfall if you see an item you like and they don't have it on their shelves they will not sell it to you off of the display!

This is one of my favorite stores! Holiday decorations, fabric, flowers, gift baskets, gourmet food and coffee---all of that, plus much more. Sweetest employees who will go out of their way to help you in any way they can. It is a joy to shop here! ♥

I love this store...full of a lil bit of everything nice except one flaw...the lady that usually makes gift baskets and works serving appetizers is just plain rude and very unfriendly :( That can turn customers away in a minute...no one deserves rudeness for no reason. My daughter and I were just there on Tuedsay, Oct. 16th, 2012 and wanted to buy a pound of coffee to split but she said we would have to pay for 2 1/2 lbs ($7.50) as opposed to buying a pound and splitting between the two of us ($11.50) even though we would not make her split the price up and just work out the splitting of cost ourself...really???? On top of that when we went to ask her about getting some coffee she was at the basket making station and looked at my daughter like she was aggravated to have to stop what she was doing and indeed did not stop but continued to make the basket for a minute or two. Now, if this were an emergency basket that had to be done right away but there was not one sole waiting for one nor was their no more than maybe 15 people in the entire store and cafe. Thank you and hopefully this person will be addressed about this matter as I would not want her to lose her job but she does need to realize we as customers are what gives her a job :) Thank you, Tammy Betterton Gretna, Va.

Its is a wonderful shop! My absolute favorite place..hands down!! Every season they have beautiful decor! Christmas is a must time to visit! They offer gourmet coffees and treats that are difficult to find elsewhere! If there were an option to give this establishment 6 stars!

I am from Tennessee and I visit the Gingerbread house every time I visit my family in Danville VA. This is one of my favorite store. Gingerbread house has by far the prettiest decor for every season that I have ever seen. I wish they would relocate to Tennessee.

We love this store,(even my husband), it has the prettiest Christmas trees, vera bags, all kinds of gift ideas. Last year i had a hard time getting in the Christmas Spirit, when i left the store i was ready for Santa.

Best place ever for gifts, household decor, floral arrangements, Brown Bean restaurant and fabric made items, such as; curtains and shower curtains. We moved to Atlanta, Georgia and continue to do business at the Ginger Bread House located in Danville, Virginia. A must place to visit in Danville, Virginia and most accommodating employees.
