The company manufactures technical textiles for several industries that include automotive, marine, electronics, filtration, insulation, commercial and aerospace. The fabrics produced by BGF Industries feature a wide variety of product applications, such as exhaust systems, heat shields, flooring and front dash insulation, surfboard reinforcement, aircraft interiors, ducting, helicopter rotor blades, brake linings, tooling, computers, telecommunications and consumer products. BGF Industries maintains its corporate headquarters in Greensboro, N.C., and houses the company's administrative and sales offices, as well as a state-of-the-art research and development center.
