Vermilion Association for Special Education is a learning center that serves more than 1,600 students between the ages of 3 and 21. The center provides speech and language therapies for students with special needs. It also conducts classes for students with learning disabilities, visual impairments and behavior disorders. The center offers an early childhood education program for children between the ages of 3 and 5. Vermilion Association for Special Education also supports classes in adapted physical education. The center s secondary transitional experience program emphasizes on developing work-related habits and provides on-job training opportunities. Its staff includes psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, vocational coordinators and itinerant teachers. Vermilion Association for Special Education is located in Danvilee, Ill.
