I had purchase a beautiful black oversized Doberman puppy from the House of Hoytt decades ago. Called and left a deposit and had to wait months for the puppy to be ready. We drove from NY to Tennessee to visit HOH and pick up our new 12 week old pup with the training and socializing in public and the whole nine yards. Not only did we spend an additional $800 for a personal trainer and the pup was terrified of even a passing car, but after a months time the dog at only about 4 months old, my wife calls me at work to tell me the dog attacked and tried to bite her arm while putting on the lead to go outside. Not believing this, when I got home the and duplicated my wife's actions, the puppy snarled at me and lunged at me. I had to pick up a chair like a lion tamer to protect myself. Barry through multiple phone calls agreed to take the pup back for an exchange. The next dog was beautiful and behaved, but died from heart failure at only 5 years old almost to the day. That was it with HOH

We have owned 3 dobermans from House of Hoytt. They are all super smart, and we have the obedience and rally titles hanging on the wall to prove it. Barrie Hoytt, the breeder, has been wonderful to our family through the years. He has been available for advice since the day we brought home our first beautiful HOH pup. He devotes his life to these dogs.

We have purchased two Doberman from Barry Hoytt. Barry is a very honest & upfront man. We have dealt with him over the years, and a lot of work goes into training these Dobermans. Training = $$, and well worth a very well behaved trained Doberman. People forget it cost money for all that training and socializing, people do not work free. You can purchase a puppy at any kennel; you are buying the Hoytts bloodline.
