The sports Academy of Connecticut and NEW York is a state of the ART baseball and softball training facility located AT 69 KENOSIA avenue in Danbury. CT. The Academy was carefully designed with the optimal development of the ‘student athlete’ in mind. Realizing a void existed in the area for a facility of this nature. And an appreciation and understanding of the complexity of resources student athletes need to optimize their development. The Academy addresses ALL facets of development. . In addition to the essential mechanics. Fundamentals. And skills required to perform AT the highest level. Taught by former collegiate and professional athletes; a strength and conditioning center. Designed by a certified sports athletic trainer. Featuring some of the finest equipment. Along with an Olympic grade speed and agility program is available. To augment the training process, a nutrition and hydration BAR. Featuring NCAA approved supplements is available to assure appropriate recovery. And promote proper nutrition and hydration programs for ALL STUDENT-ATHLETES in training, a professional grade video room. Adjacent to the training floor. Will allow student athletes (and their parents) the opportunity to review and record the student athletes development with an instructor. AS college coaches frequently request videos of prospective players. The Academy has the capabilities to provide recruiting grade videos AT a fraction of the cost when compared to commercially available options. Whereas the athletic component of the Academy is unique to the area. The TWO additional components that round OUT the ‘total development package’ are the tutoring and recruiting center, a study room. Structured like typical collegiate study table. Includes home work monitoring. Optional SAT and ACT preparation tutoring. And a recruiting resource.
