This facility is beautiful, but don't let that fool you. They are extremely understaffed and once your loved one is there, the residents are ignored, as I saw In the dining room, call lights on the wings that had not been answered and so on. I was so excited to have my mother there for rehabilitation because she had lived in Lake Highlands for over 50 years. Our family loves Lake Highlands and we always want to support businesses in our area. Think twice before placing a loved one there for rehabilitation if they are over 80. The administration is nice when you are touring, but once you have placed a loved one there, the help they offer is not so helpful. Go tour one day without someone showing you around. You may get a better picture that way.

Helped to rehab my dad after a knee replacement. The staff was wonderful, caring, and polite.
