I came into the Postal Office to send and express mail package and was greeted by a Postal Worker that usually provides adequate and efficient service to all the customers at the Express Mail area, ( outside in the lobby area). She informed me that I would need to use the express mail packaging for mailing. I went inside to the area with all the necessary supplies. As I was trying to figure out what to do, there were two Postal Workers trying to assist anyone, watching me struggle with this package. As I completed the package, the female Postal Worker, Renee' approached me and addressed me very rudely. She loudly and aggressively told me that I would not be able to mail the package because of the way it was done. She nor the other Postal Worker, Derrick, offered to assist in the beginning. Both were extremely rude and lack Customer Service. Both exhibit poor examples for this wonderful Post Office and all the other Workers. I would suggest strong Customer Service for both.
I had to cash in a money order under 500.00 via the USPS money order service. I went to the DFW USPS and they were just plain rude. At least they were kind enough to tell me to come here. And boy am I happy I did. The customer service was completely opposite to what I dealt with at the DFW branch. The people were smiling, chatting and seemed to actually like their job. (Even on a Sunday!) I had no problems waiting in line. It moved pretty fast. The govt employee was very helpful with the transaction. Overall a great experience in a Federal facility.
