After nearly 40 years of service, R + L Carriers has grown from a one-truck operation to a fleet of more than 12,000 tractors and trailers. R + L Carriers, a family-owned motor freight carrier, offers hazardous material transportation, jet service, cargo claims, electronic data interchange, permitting and pre-assigned shipping numbers. Robert s Truck Parts, the company s parts and service division, offers 24-hour field service as well as wreckers. Over the years, R + L Carriers has expanded through acquisitions of such companies as Gator Freightways, Greenwood Motor Lines and Herder Truck Lines. R + L Carriers services more than 45 United States, as well as parts of Canada and Puerto Rico, and it has terminals and offices throughout the U.S., including one in Dallas.
