Dr. Shear doesn't double or triple book patients. Rather, he's much like an old-school family doc who spends as much time as needed with each patient. He treats eye injuries, eye infections & eye disease. He can also prescribe the necessary pills or drops for eye problems.He doesn't do laser surgery, but he does do pre-operative & post-operative examinations. Dr. Shear also does vision exams on adults and children. He recently started performing vision exams on infants as part of the American Optometric Association "InfantSee" program.He fits all types of contact lenses and eyeglasses and can can custom design glasses so that they're as unique as you.Dr. Shear has been practicing since 1990; in North Dallas since 1993. He is a Desert Shield/Desert Storm veteran and served as the Chief of Service at the U.S. Army National Training Center for Desert Warfare's Weed Army Hospital from 1990-1992.
