PLAN of North Texas, also known as Planned Living Assistance Network of North Texas, is a nonprofit membership organization that provides personal care planning services for parents and their adult children who suffer from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression. Founded in 1991, the agency offers case management, counseling and respite cares services. It employs more than 10 professional members who prepare individualized care plans. PLAN of North Texas also provides stress management, social skills development and education programs. The agency offers assistance with financial decision making. It also provides psychiatric care and housing assistance services. PLAN of North Texas is a member of the National PLAN Alliance and the Center for Nonprofit Management. The agency is located in Dallas.
