Panera is one of my favorite bakeries/quick-casual restaurants. I have been a happy customer since their days as the St. Louis Bread Company in Chicago. I was beside myself when I found out they were opening a restaurant in Fort Worth. Since that time Panera has expanded to other locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Their bagels are delicious. I especially enjoy their Cinnamon Crunch bagel. The Greek and Caesar salads are crisp and fresh. I suggest trying their Tuna Salad on Honey Wheat and their Asiago Roast Beef is divine. If you want a warm sandwich then I suggest the Turkey Artichoke panini. Panera's soups will warm your soul. I am partial to their French Onion but other favorites of mine are the Low Fat Chicken Noodle, Broccoli Cheddar and Baked Potato. Not only do they prepare fresh, tasty food but they also help their local communities. Operation Dough-Nation is a program in which Panera donates cash donations and unsold bread to local hunger relief organizations.
