  After law school, Mr. Newman served as Law Clerk to Chief Judge Alfred A. Arraj, U.S. District Court, Denver, Colorado (1973). He is a member of the American Law Institute. He was an Adjunct Professor in business law at UNT-Dallas from 2010 to 2013.
