LifeNet, established in 1977, provide comprehensive community behavioral and rehabilitation health care services. It is a nonprofit organization offering outpatient programs for adults and children with disabilities, such as mental illness, chemical dependency and dual diagnosis. Located in Dallas, it provides clinical, vocational and supportive housing services, including counseling, medication, health screenings, psychiatric counseling and psychotherapy. It also offers various programs, such as substance abuse and skills training program, child and adolescent programs, and assertive community treatment. The organization provides supportive vocational assessment, including counseling, testing, computer skills training and job placement. Additionally, it offers residential properties and housing initiatives for the homeless.
