Reviews
Forget everything you know about modern Health Clubs. The Verandah departs from all expectations. Membership fees are so high you'd think that you were at the Golden Door; Outdoor pool in summer has a great swim-up bar too bad the bar flies are drunk by 3:00 and smoke. When in the outdoor pool ignore the band-aids in the water and the disgusting changing rooms. The rules and regulations are designed to satisfy the older, sedintarian. Service is lacking, but no management's chagrin' it doesn't care about the state of service or facilities. Hotel guests pay $18.00 bucks a day to feel cheated. Grab your treadmill quickly. Ladies delight in taking slow walks on treadmills while watching Katie in the morn on 1 of the 6 community tv's, leaving runners to wait or circumvent the 1/12 mile indoor track. Outdoor course is in a beautiful 7 acre park. This once nice facility should be plowed down in an act of Health Club euthanasia, instead of being allowed to linger to its death.
