It is affiliated with various hospitals, such as Arlington Memorial Hospital, Baylor University Medical Center and Medical City Dallas Hospital. HeartPlace also performs clinical studies to find better ways to prevent, detect, diagnose and treat illnesses. The organization was founded in 1962.
