  Laura Rosenfield, MD, was born and raised in Dallas, TX and is a graduate of both JJ Pearce High School and Southern Methodist University. Dr. Rosenfield completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Distinction and membership in Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr.Rosenfield earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at The University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas.

  Dr. Rosenfield chose the field of OB/GYN because she enjoys the combination of daily patient care, obstetrics and surgery.  She considers it an honor to be involved in some of the most important moments in her patients’ lives and looks forward to developing long term relationships with them. Dr. Rosenfield believes in open dialogue as the foundation of trust between physicians and patients. She is  committed to patient education and will present a variety of options so that her patients have the opportunity to participate in their care.  Dr. Rosenfield joined Gyn/Ob Associates in 2019 after practicing solo for 6 years.

  Located at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas in the Margot Perot building, our services include providing both low risk and high risk obstetrical care. This includes providing routine prenatal care, initial screening for birth defects, addressing problems during your pregnancy, as well as providing ultrasound services. Additionally, we provide a full range of surgical services, including minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, and endometrial ablation techniques for treating abnormal uterine bleeding. Of course, we also provide yearly well woman exams, birth control and gynecological related health concerns.

  Sheila Chhutani, M.D., M.B.A., is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri in 1995 and graduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1999, where she was active on the admissions board. In 2003, Dr. Chhutani completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She was chief resident during her last year. She moved to Dallas in 2004 for a fellowship in Advanced Pelvic Surgery. She began practicing medicine with Gyn/Ob Associates in January 2007. Dr. Chhutani focuses on minimally invasive gynecological procedures, including laparoscopy using the DaVinci robot and vaginal procedures. She also offers obstetric and general gynecology services with a focus on fibroids and menopause. In her free time, she enjoys serving on various committees in the hospital, traveling and spending time with family.
